Although the raod to Chandratal is a tough one, but staying at Parasol camps more than makes up for it.. We did not book it, so we could not get the luxury tents as they were PRE booked. So, we got accommodation in the deluxe tents which were also good. So, please pre book your tents. The owner Mr. Bishan is a stalwart in the tourism industry.. He knows how to make you feel at home.. We had to park our car, a Honda City a little bit away from the camp site due to a few stuck up cars. Mr. Bishan makes sure that he helps in getting the stuck cars to the campsite by his truck.. The food is great at this height.. The atmosphere in the soup tent by the fire side is great with all people from different parts of the country getting together and sharing their experiences along with songs and anecdotes.. Mr. Bishan helped us next morning renting his car with a driver to visit the Chandratal Lake at the Perfect Time.. The Lake is a heavenly experience during the sunrise time with some amazing reflections and views.. Make sure to prebook your tents at Parasol Camps
